An RSS feed is a document that is electronically delivered and received that might include a list of headlines, update notices. and sometimes content to a large number of people at once. Depending on how often a business releases updates or whatever they do, would determine how much RSS feeds could benefit them. Take for example iTunes, who updates their store on a daily basis, would greatly benefit from an RSS feed.(If they do have one, I do not subscribe to it. I have other ways of finding out about any updates and additions.) That is the biggest factor into whether or not your business could use an RSS feed. If information is only updated every couple of days, then your business could probably survive without using RSS.
